The experience

Here you buy an entry ticket and an audio guide in app with a digital map, in five languages, which you listen to on your smartphone. The price starts from $23 per person and the visit usually lasts one or two hours, according to the listing. Among the options there is also a one-hour guided tour with a historian.

The ticket does not include the suburban villas: Villa of the Mysteries, Villa of Diomedes and Villa Regina are excluded. For comparison, the official Pompei Express, which covers the ancient city only, costs €20 in 2026 and is named and non-refundable (source: Park's Hours and Prices page). This booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before.

The voucher is exchanged for the official tickets at the Vox City info point in Piazza Esedra, opposite the Hotel Vittoria. After booking, an email or WhatsApp message arrives with the link for check-in and the app. The rest depends on your phone: charged battery and headphones.

How it works

   Vox City writes to you by email or WhatsApp with the link for check-in and to download the app.

2. Upon arrivalInfo point at Piazza Esedra

   Exchange the voucher for the official tickets at the Vox City info point in Piazza Esedra, opposite the Hotel Vittoria.

3. EntryExcavations of Pompeii

   Enter with the named ticket: keep a document handy, staff may ask for it.

4. The visitMap and audio

   Follow the digital map and listen to the explanations with your headphones. The Park recommends at least 2 or 3 hours for the excavations.
